U19 Girls Hockey Trials on 12th November

The girls from Punjab wishing to register themselves for the Hockey Patiala Under 19 Girls Hockey Championship on 25-27 November 2016 at Bassi Pathana in District Fatehgarh Sahib, can come for trial on 12th November. 

Mr Thakar Singh Mejie President of Hockey Faehgarh Sahib and the Chairman of the Championship said that the trials would be held on 12th November in the ITI Grounds of Derabassi. 

Girls under 19, born on or after 1st January 1998 should contact Mr Tejinder Singh, Senior Vice President of Hockey Fatehgarh Sahib (Mobile: 98728 19657).

U-19 Girls Championship in end November 2016

Hockey Fatehgarh Sahib shall be organising 'Hockey Patiala State U-19 Girls Championship' at Bassi Pathana from 25th to 27th November 2016.

Mr. Thakur Singh Mejie, President, Hockey Fatehgarh Saheb informed that 11 District teams shall be participating in this Championship including Fatehgarh Saheb, Mukatsar Sahib, Bathinda, Kapurthala, Sangrur, Barnala, Patiala, Ferozepur, Mansa, Faridkot and Moga.



At the meeting of the organising committee held today Hockey Fatehgarh formed various committees and allocated responsibilities for the successful conduct of the U19 Championship.

The Hockey Fatehgarh also appointed Wazir Chand as Championship Director, Manpreet Singh as Hockey Secretary and Tejinder Singh as the Organising Secretary, who shall look after the technical conduct of the meet.

The Championship will be held on knock-out basis, informed Thakur Singh Mejie, who was also appointed as the Chairman of the U19 Girls Championship.

The trials of the Championship shall be held on 12th November 2016, at the ITI Grounds in Bassi Pathana and those girls born on or before 1st January 1998, interested in participating in the Championship must register themselves with Mr Tejinder Singh, Senior Vice President of Hockey Fatehgarh Sahib (Mobile: 98728 19657).
